#1 reason I didn’t join book club this go: I love/hate Ramit Sethi. Now, after reading this, I’m intrigued. There is something about his over simplification and ruthlessness to the rich life vision that rubs me wrong, but…he’s not wrong.

He’s great. Among so many people peddling nonsense - and there’s a lot of that - and despite using a phrase you’d associate with a scam of some sort as the title of his book/Netflix show, he stands out as one of the best for personal finance. I watched his show on Netflix and found myself shaking my head yes over and over. He espouses a Boglehead investing, and balances on the other side by helping people prioritize and then spend their money accordingly without guilt. The fact that he continues to dispel myths about throwing your money away on rent is another great thing. I’m a fan.
